What started as a Facebook conversation in 2014....turned into an adventure of a lifetime....an apparel line with prints created by local artist, Robert James McPeek, using his photography and drawing skills. He has had the privilege and honor of designing for local Hawaii Kumu Hula and their halaus. One of the highlights was seeing his creations on the Merrie Monarch Stage. Never in his wildest dreams did he see that coming!

A Hawaii born artist, Robert was born on O'ahu and raised in Kohala on Hawaii Island. Surrounded by lush botanicals and his mother's and grandmother's love for plants, this became the inspiration for his work.

After spending almost 3 decades in the hotel and airline industries, Robert returned to his love of art and photography....his true calling in life.

Robert and his partner of 22 years, Keith, reside on O'ahu.

He is grateful for his family and friends that have supported his creative work...his adventure. Grateful for the Kumu Hula who gave him the opportunity of a lifetime. ...for the people who graciously purchased apparel from the get go.
